Int'l Women's Day: LAPO Canvasses Equal Opportunity for Women
LAPO celebrated the 2014 International Women's Day with a clarion call on relevant authorities to eliminate gender disparity in politics, school enrolment and graduation rate by the year 2015.
The event, which was chaired by Hon. (Mrs.) Esohe Jacobs, a former member of the Edo State House of Assembly, drew participants from the civil society, government, academia, market women and partners in development under the theme: Inspiring Change: Enhancing Women Equality in Decision Making.
