200,000 Beneficiaries Receive Financial Literacy, Health Messages

Lift Above Poverty Organisation (LAPO) equipped 200,000 people with health and financial literacy messages via bulk SMS between January and April, 2016.

The health messages were centred on malaria prevention and control with special attention on pregnant women and children below five years.

LAPO emphasized financial planning and savings culture under financial literacy with individuals advised to set financial goals for themselves.
