LAPO Boosts Rural Agriculture, Supports Farmers With N11bn

Lift Above Poverty Organi­zation (LAPO), on Tuesday, declared that it has improved the livelihood of rural farm­ers as well as supported micro-businesses with the disbursement of N11 billion between January and July this year 2021.

This it said was carried out under the LAPO Rural Devel­opment Initiative (LARDI).

Dr. Honestus Ayobami Obadiora, the Executive Director of LAPO expressed delight that the beneficiaries who were hitherto subsis­tence farmers and Small Scale business Owners have ex­panded their farmlands and businesses with improved in­come for family upkeep and savings for the future.
