Integration of Microcredit and Social Service Project: 5,313 Clients Empowered

The Integration of Microcredit and Social Service project is aimed at improving the health status of clients of LAPO Microfinance Bank through routine health sensitisation and screening for tropical diseases.

In May 2023, 5,313microcredit clients were trained on maternal and child health care during pregnancy and delivery, family planning, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and child spacing. The beneficiaries were equally tested and screened for HIV, Blood pressure, Hepatitis B, Malaria and Blood Sugar.
